Kate Keahey – Principal Investigator
Kate Keahey is a Senior Scientist at Argonne National Laboratory and the Computer Science Department at the University of Chicago. She also leads the Chameleon Project which provides a bare metal reconfigurable testbed for Computer Science research. Fraida Fund – co-Principal Investigator
Fraida Fund is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. She is also affiliated with CATT (New York State Center for Advanced Technology in Telecommunications and Distributed Systems) and NYU WIRELESS. Fraida has developed curriculum materials for teaching computer networks, distributed systems, and network security based on reproducible experiments and will lead educational activities on the project. Haryadi S. Gunawi – co-Principal Investigator
Haryadi S. Gunawi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Chicago where he leads the UCARE research group (UChicago systems research on Availability, Reliability, and Efficiency). Cormac Flanagan – co-Principal Investigator
Cormac Flanagan is a Full Professor of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He is the recipient of two PLDI Most Influential Paper Awards, a POPL Most Influential Paper Award, an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Fellowship, as well as Distinguished Paper Awards from CSF, ECOOP, and ISSTA. He served as PLDI program chair in 2013, and as chair of the PLDI Steering Committee from 2016-19. Dr. Flanagan holds 6 U.S. patents and has published 84 journal and conference papers. His research has been supported by the NSF, DoD, Microsoft, IBM, UC and others. Prior to joining UCSC in 2003, he was a Principal Research Scientist at Hewlett Packard Corporation, at Compaq Computer Corporation, and at Digital Equipment Corporation. Learn more about Cormac
Stephanie Lieggi – Senior Personnel
Stephanie Lieggi is the Executive Director of the Center for Research in Open Source Software (CROSS) at UC Santa Cruz and co-PI for the UCSC Open Source Program Office where she supports open source projects and helps to enable a sustainable communities through the establishment of hands-on mentorship programs.
