Summer of Reproducibility Featured in Better Scientific Software (BSSw) Blog

The “Summer of Reproducibility” initiative, spearheaded by the REPETO Project, focuses on enhancing practical reproducibility in computational sciences. This mentorship program, part of UCSC’s Open Source Research Experience, completed its inaugural session in 2023. It connected 19 students globally with 21 mentors to integrate reproducibility into the scientific process. The program received positive feedback, with fellows appreciating the skills acquired and mentors acknowledging the advancement in their research.
